Work boots and tramping boots are quite expensive and require special care. Feet can sweat up to 300mls per day so ideally using two pairs are optimal to get longest life from them, using on alternate days and drying carefully the recently used pair. Apply a generous application of BeeSeal to the leather boots, after carefully drying them in the sun or hot water cupboard. A second coating before use may be beneficial as BeeSeal soaks in. It is safe to use on leather boots with gortex or other waterproof linings.
